Absolutely! Cannabis is most definitely a psychedelic when used with intention during the journey experience. You know that feeling "OMG I'm too high"? That's actually the state you want to be in. You are supported the entire time of the journey and that "too high" feeling can lead to incredible insights.
Pregnancy definitely contraindicated. Other clinical diagnoses may be contraindicated as well. We review all of that information in the Safety Assessment. If you are in doubt, please consult with your medical professional.
Absolutely. Because we utilize cannabis in a ceremonial manner, it's very different than "just getting high". By imbibing cannabis with intention, it totally changes they way the body's cannabinoid receptors operate and experienced clients are able to achieve psychedelic effects.
Yes. This type of work is available to most everyone (except where contraindicated) and we will discuss your use of cannabis during the intake session. During the imbibing part of the journey, you are invited to smoke as much or as little as you wish. Based on my personal experience, those that have limited or no experience with cannabis can still journey safely, but may choose to imbibe less than a more experienced cannabis user and still have a successful journey.
We utilize a flower vaporizer with pre-blended cannabis. The vaporizers we use are the Pax or Pax Plus. If you do not have one, we have one you can borrow for the session.
Because dosage is tricky with edibles, we avoid them for journeys. It can take up to 2 hours for the effects to hit and can be very unpredictable. If you cannot vape flower, please contact us at info@thealchemyofserenity.com and we can discuss options.
No. We will provide you with one for your journey. If you'd like to purchase your own, we recommend the Pax Plus.
We recommend purchasing 1 gram each of sativa, indica and hybrid. THC percent should be a minimum of 23% up to as much as you feel like you can tolerate.
No. We cannot provide cannabis under any circumstances. We do not have a dispensary license so the client is required to bring your own. We will tell you exactly what to purchase from a dispensary and will help you blend it.
No, we are not a dispensary and cannot provide cannabis.
We recommend blending equal amounts by weight. I use a mortal and pestle and a small scale to be precise. If you don't want to blend at home, please bring the unblended flower with you to your journey session and I can help you weigh and blend it. If you do this, I also recommend you bring a small container for the excess.
Yes, definitely. Per the Psychedelic Safety Agreement that all clients are required to sign, clients are required to have a ride home.
You will be surprised when you imbibe cannabis with intention, how different the experience is for you. We recommend you purchasing strains that you may be unfamilar with and thereby have a reduced tolerance to.
We recommend the Pax or Pax Plus. The Pax Mini doesn't have a temperature control and is less effective.
CBN is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid from the Cannabis Sativa plant. On its own, it helps relax the body and induce sleep. When used in conjunction with the appropriate Cannabis Sativa blend, it can enhance the psychedelic effects of the journey. Use of CBN is entirely optional.
While rare, on occasion a client may have an intense experience that is too uncomfortable. We have a nano-encapulated (fast-acting) CBD Psychedelic Rescue Spray which will stop the psychedelic experience.
Yes. We work with anxiety that may appear during the journey. We encourage the use of CBN, which helps to counterbalance the effects of intense sativas which can cause anxiety and you are supported the entire time.
We package all sessions for each journey together. Payment is required by the end of the intake/intention setting session. The reason for this is that we handle all financial transactions in a sober state.
Unfortunately, at this time, we can only accept cash or you can use Venmo or Zelle. Our previous booking software/payment processor has deleted our account, without notice, because the website says "Cannabis-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy". The pearl-clutchers at the bank cherry-picked this language without regard to my other text that clearly states we DO NOT SELL OR PROVIDE CANNABIS IN ANY WAY. At this time, I'm looking for other options. I apologize for the inconvenience.
